My name is Aaron Paul and I am a EMT for the state of Maryland. I became a EMT in 2005 because I felt a calling to serve my community. I serve as an active EMT in both the.Hoopers Island volunteer fire company (HiVFC) and Taylor’s Island Volunteer fire Company (TIVFC) both rural communities in Dorchester County. I am a former ambulance, captain and ambulance Lieutenant for HIVFC and I am currently the rescue captain for TIVFC.
Early in my career, I responded to a traumatic incident of the forever change my life and resulted in my diagnosis of PTSD. I struggle in silence for many years and about eight years ago I realized the importance of therapy and medication management.
In 2014 I started volunteering for a local organization. Heroes Haven. They provided resource resources, support, and experiences to wounded warrior. I look forward to meeting new members each year and accompanying them on deer hunts, fishing, and or crabbing trips. The friendships I have made through heroes. Haven have been truly made a positive impact on my life.
I am a fifth generation commercial fisherman and an avid hunter. My life revolves around the outdoors and I recently discovered a piece that gardening brings me. I am grateful to Eric Brefini for introducing me to Stephanie and Frontline Gardens.
Our builds would not be possible without the help of our wonderful sponsors. Thank you to the sponsors of this build!
