An incredible day as we completed another Veteran garden build with Frontline Gardens FrontLine Gardens-North Carolina in partnership with the Home Depot Foundation.

A huge thank you to our volunteers, partners, and community members who came together to create a beautiful, peaceful space for a deserving Veteran and their family. Your hard work, generosity, and dedication remind us what service and community truly mean.

We are honored to stand alongside those who have served, and proud to continue building spaces that bring healing, connection, and hope. 💚

Veteran Bio:
Before retiring in 2013, HMCS Ward Taft served in the US Navy for 20 years. During his time of service, he spent 18 of his 20 years supporting Marines in small teams. Ward conducted 14 total deployments with several combat deployments in the Middle East. In 2010, Ward was injured in service and received a moderate Brain injury, a broken back, and damage to his pituitary system. causing his time in service to come to an end. Ward likes spending time outside and is looking forward to being able to nourish his body with his own food.
