I joined the US Air Force on February 18, 2003 as a Security Forces member. Upon graduation from Basic and Tech School, I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage Alaska. During my time in Alaska i served as a Security Forces member, Patrol Sergeant, Law Enforcement Desk Sergeant, & Flight Chief. I then went to Military Working Dog Handler School in San Antonio TX where i became a certified K9 handler. I returned to Elmendorf AFB and worked as a MWD handler. While stationed in Alaska, i deployed to the middle east during Operation Iraqi freedom/Enduring freedom where I conducted missions in Iraq, Africa, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, and UAE. Later in my career, I was stationed at Keesler AFB, MS. There I continued as a Military Working Dog Handler- conducting both narcotic and explosive detection work for multiple VIP’s and the President of the United States. After sustaining injuries in the military, I took an early retirement and left the Air Force in August 2009. After leaving the Air Force, I served as a civilian police officer in Mississippi, then relocated back to Orlando Florida where I worked as an Explosive Detection K9 handler for the Orlando Airport for 12 years. In January 2022, I relocated to East TN where I currently work as a Felony Probation/ Parole officer.
